Harvey Creech, 75, died January 29 at his home at Partridge.
Born in Letcher County, he was a son of the late Horace and Lora Fields Creech and was married to the late Jean McNulty Creech.
He had worked as a general manager with TECO Coal Clintwood- Elkhorn Division, and was employed with Blue Diamond Coal for 29 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was the minister of the Old Regular Baptist Church Indian Bottom Association.
Survivors include his children, Warren Edward Creech and wife Wendy, and Gregory Creech and wife Banita, all of Partridge, Tammy Creech Hogue and husband Scottie of Richmond, and James Harvey Creech Jr. of Cumberland; a brother, Bob Creech of Jenkins; and grandchildren, Eddie Creech, Ashley Creech, Kelli Hogue, Steven Hogue, and Madison Creech.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Poor Fork Old Regular Baptist Church in Cumberland. Burial will be in the Creech family cemetery at Partridge.
