Services set for Burnam Fowler


Burnam Arthur Fowler, 52, died January 9 at the University of Louisville Medical Center.

Born in Harlan County, he was a son of the late Perry and Marcella Pelly Fowler.

Mr. Fowler was a member of the Forgiven Ministries Church in Whitesburg. He was the drummer in the church band and enjoyed sharing his passion of music as a ministry.

His career as a truck driver spanned more than three decades. It was the only job he wanted to do and he made many lifelong friends while on the roads of Letcher County.

Surviving are two children, Hannah Fowler Partin and husband Darren of Dry Fork, and Hagan A. Fowler and wife Tamzy of Whitesburg; a brother, Perry M. Fowler of Whitesburg; and three close friends, Loran Sturgill, Shane Ison and Pam Pack.

Funeral services will be held at noon today (Wednesday, January 13) at the Forgiven Ministries Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Whitesburg.

Everidge Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
