Memorial services for Elizabeth Ann Croley, 79, of Columbia, Tenn., will be held January 13 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia.
A daughter of the late Johnny Lee Oakes and Cliva Stidham Oakes, she died January 4 at Signature Healthcare in Columbia.
She was the widow of Nicky Croley, and a sister of the late Virgil Oakes.
Born in Weeksbury, she was a homemaker, and had driven an ice cream truck for several years. She enjoyed watching old Westerns, and also enjoyed fishing. She was a simple, down-to-earth woman who loved her family, and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by four sons, Randy Croley and wife Nickie of Columbia, Tenn., and Rudy Little, Ronnie Little, and Robert Little, all of Kentucky; three daughters, Patty Jean Howard and husband Wendall of Portland, Tenn., Pamela Sue Croley of Florida, and Colleen Croley of Columbia, Tenn.; two brothers, Kenneth Oakes of Ocala, Fla., and Freddy Oakes of Thornton; a sister, Della Oakes Hunter of Nicolasville; grandchildren, Alex Croley, Aaron Croley, Nicky Ray Nickell; a great-grandchild, Addison Croley; and an aunt, Bobbie Croley Little.
