Elnora “Nora” Sexton Logan, 86, died February 14.
A daughter of the late Elder John and Minnie Gibson Sexton, she was married to the late Leroy Logan for almost 41 years. She was also preceded in death by a son, Eddie Wayne Logan; three brothers, Kernal, Larry, and Jerry Sexton; two sisters, Stella Mae Burns and Linda Sue Humphrey; and two grandsons, Stacey Combs and Rodney Hurt.
Mrs. Logan loved spending time with her family and friends and going to church when she was able. Her favorite hobby was going to auctions.
Surviving are four children, Brenda Logan Seals and husband Bill of Colson, Carolyn Logan Hurt and husband Burt of Cane Hollow, and James Logan and Jennifer Logan Mullins both of Colson; grandchildren, Kenny Combs, Tracey Combs, Jamie Seals, Tammy Cook, Crystal Hurt, Danny Hurt, Tonya Amburgey, Sonya Collins, Tabitha Logan, and Jasper Mullins; greatgrandchildren, Michael, Kendra, Kendall, Shae, Skylar, Jasmine, Gavin, Logan, Cameron, Aldrin, Marsoil, Matthew, Isabella, Alexis, Hannah, Bentley, and Xavier, Autumn, Bailey, and Aubree; great-great-grandchildren, Gage and Braxton; four brothers, Norman Sexton and wife Wilma, Boliver Sexton and wife Jeanette, Oliver Sexton and wife Brenda, and Frances Sexton and wife Jan, and two sisters, Marietta Caudill and Connie Cook.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Old Carr Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Charlie Logan Cemetery at Colson.
