Services set for Nolan Webb




Leonard Nolan Webb of Harriman, Tenn., died November 2 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He was 67 years old.

A son of the late Ben and Nannie Holbrook Webb, he was a brother of the late Norman C. Webb. He was a former radio broadcaster in Whitesburg, Pikeville, Clintwood, Va., and Texas, as well as a meteorologist for Channel 27 in Lexington.

Surviving are his wife, Deanna Ashbrook Webb; three daughters, Denola Jean Watkins and husband Russell, Lexington; Tressa Lea Sheffield and husband Len, and Terri Lynn Webb, all of Harriman, Tenn.; a son, Brandon Lee Hudson, Harriman, Tenn.; sisters, Joy Fay Simcox and Mary Lou Sergent and husband Archie, Jeffersonville, Ind., and Beanetta Ayers and husband Keith, Salem, Ill.; grandsons, Kenneth Nolan Sheffield and Vincent Lynn Sheffield; sistersin law, Judy Mullins and husband Joe and Ruth Webb; and brother-in-law Dan Ashbrook.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., November 6, at Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Thornton Cemetery.
