Services set for Ruby Caudill



Ruby June Adams Caudill, 81, died May 8 at her home in Columbus, Ga.

Born in Mayking to the late G. Bennett Adams and Ella Combs Adams, she was the widow of Cecil R. Caudill.

She was a graduate of Whitesburg High School, attended Pikeville College, and was a member of the Pine Mountain Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, the Ogle Thorpe Chapter DAR in Columbus, and w as a loan officer at the Bank of Whitesburg for many years.

She was a member of Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church in Whitesburg, and Wynton Memorial United Methodist Church in Columbus.

She is survived by two daughters, Annella Larkey and husband David of Columbus, Ga., and Lynne Fannin of Nicholasville; two brothers, Stephen P. Adams and wife Bertha, and Bill M. Adams and wife Dempil, all of Louisville; four grandchildren, James David Larkey V, Angela Raygan Larkey King and husband Kevin, D. Joshua Fannin, and Jordan Bennett Fannin; and two great-grandchildren, Luke Andrew King and Lily Kathryn King.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church in Whitesburg. Burial will be in the Sandick Cemetery.

Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg has charge of arrangements.
