Sharon Hash dies at 70


Sarah G. Hash, 70, died February 21 in Vidalia, Ga.

She was a daughter of the late Ballard and Edith Fleming, and was also preceded in death by three sisters, Carrie Abdonte, Mable Burke and Mildred Reese, and two brothers, David Fleming and Roger Dale Fleming.

Mrs. Hash attended Stevens Church of God. She was a former employee of Mamma Penn’s in Anderson, S.C., and the owner of the Jerky Restaurant in Pound, Va.

Surviving are her husband, Preston “ Sally” Hash; a son, Patrick Hash; a daughter, Tina Holden and husband Wayne; five grandchildren, Deckie Dotson, Nicole Mullins, Amber Dotson, Dakota Hash and Kinsley Hash; two greatgrandsons, Breandan Mullins and Noah Vanover; four brothers, Robert Fleming and wife Jerri, Paul Fleming and wife Nancy, Phillip Fleming and wife Kay and Danny Fleming and wife Judy; and two sisters, Mary Wanstreet and husband Paul and Dorothy Collier.

Funeral services were held February 25 in Wise, Va. Burial was in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, Va.
