Shelba Paxton, 75, died April 26 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born in Neon to the late Leslie and Lona Hammonds McFall, she was the widow of James Tony Paxton.
She was a sister of the late Jerry McFall, Marlene Sexton and Linda Bears.
Mrs. Paxton was the cafeteria manager at Martha Jane Potter School for 42 years, and was a member of the Haymond Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Tonia A. Yonts and Shelia Paxton, both of Goosecreek; two brothers, Leslie McFall Jr. of Fleming- Neon, and Frank McFall of Goosecreek; two sisters, Lola Taylor of Cynthiana and Ruth Ann Orman of Dearborn, Mich.; two grandchildren, Joseph Yonts and Tasha Brown; and two great-grandchildren, Jaydence Brown and Braylan Brown.
Funeral services for Mrs. Paxton were held April 29 in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.
