Sheriff charges two juveniles in theft of cigarettes at deli

Letcher County Sheriff Danny Webb recently arrested two juveniles who allegedly stole $1,000 worth of cigarettes from a Mayking store.

Webb said the juveniles broke a window out of the Old Style Market and Deli, owned by Johnny Craft of Thornton, around 3:30 a.m. on June 10 and took the cigarettes.

Webb said the suspects were identified by surveillance tape and were each charged with third-degree burglary, criminal mischief and theft over $300.

Webb has charge of the investigation.
