Shirley Ann Sparks, 77, died October 11 at her home in Mayking.
Born in Beefhide to the late Samuel and Alene Fleming Mullins, she was a member of the Thornton Old Regular Baptist Church in Mayking.
She was a sister of the late Eula M. Rouse, Johnny Mullins, Phillip Mullins, James Mullins, and Bobby Mullins.
Surviving are her husband, Windle “ Buck” Sparks; a son, Keith Allen Sparks and wife Michelle of Bardstown; a daughter, Tammie Sparks of Mayking; two brothers, Donald Mullins and wife Shirley of Bean Station, Tenn., and Danny Mullins of Knoxville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Derek Cornett and wife Katie, Austin Cornett and wife Stephine, Lane Cornett, Buckley Sparks and wife Ann, and Presley Michelle Sparks; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sparks were held October 15 at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
