Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College is the recipient of an award given by the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. Southeast is the winner of the Annual Line Item Variance Award, which is given each year to the community college with the least deviation from its original budget on a line-by-line basis.
Susan Croushorn, SKCTC vice president, serves as the college’s chief financial officer. Two years ago, Southeast was the winner of another award, the Annual Overall Variance Award.
Croushorn paid tribute to the work of Angela Simpson, Larry Warf, Tom Pope and employees in the business offices located on each of Southeast’s five campuses at Harlan, Cumberland, Whitesburg, Middlesboro and Pineville.
