Kimberly Ann Smith and Ronald Tyler Bentley were married June 29 at Lafayette Christian Church in Lexington. The ceremony was officiated by Will Briggs of Southland Christian Church. A reception was held at Spring Valley Golf Club in Lexington immediately following the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Katherine J. Smith of Lexington and the late James Kenneth Smith. The bridegroom is the son of Ronald Bentley and Margaret Hammonds of Whitesburg. He is a grandson of Bradley Bentley of Whitesburg.
Elizabeth Muyskens of Lexington, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Megan Hibbs, Bardstown; Liz Richardson, Charlotte, N.C.; Aubree Denton, Georgetown; and Kathy Theis, Lexington.
Brandon Boyd of Lexington, cousin of the bridegroom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Stephen Bentley, Louisville; Robert Muyskens, Lexington; Dustin Gross, Centerville, Oh.; and Bryan Howard, Pikeville.
The bride earned her bachelor of arts in education from the University of Kentucky and master of arts in education from Georgetown College. The bridegroom earned his bachelor and master of arts in education from Eastern Kentucky University. They are both employed by Fayette County Public Schools. The bride is a fourth grade teacher and the bridegroom is a sixth grade teacher.
Following a honeymoon in Oahu, Hawaii, the couple will reside in Lexington.
