I was driving home after work last Tuesday and a snake came out of the creek and was crossing the road. It shocked me. An old saying, “If you don’t kill the snake you’ll be sorry,” but I don’t think so!
Then on Friday evening I saw two deer on Mill Branch. It was around 9:30 p.m. I’m glad they continued eating the grass. I drive slow in that area.
Micca Watts Gordon and Michael Watts both had birthdays in March.
Dr. Oz has a show on TV and I was watching it. He was talking about a teapot that you use saline in and flush out your sinuses. They make a bottled one too, called Ayr. I found a new one at a secondhand store that came with 100 packets of the soothing sinus wash.
I know it sounds crazy, but guess what? It works.
My teeth had been hurting me and I went to the dentist. He said I grinded my teeth so I got a mouthpiece he made for me. It didn’t fix my problem. This rinse, after one use, I woke up the next morning with my head clear, my teeth not hurting, and I do believe I found the cure.
I have used prescription medicines and this, by far, has helped more than any product! I highly recommend it. And yes, the dates were good. I think I might have paid $2.
I used to watch UK ballgames with my Aunt Blanche Banks. She loved basketball. After she passed I lost interest. Last Friday night I said, “Aunt Blanche, this will be for you.” I watched my first game and they won! I’ll bet she was dancing in heaven!
I played with Carolina Rayne Eldridge around five hours on Saturday. It’s hard to believe she turned six months old on April 1.
Connor Cade Eversole will be turning two this coming weekend. Party time. I’ll have photos soon of Connor’s party.
Granny buys for Collin Cruz Eversole, too. I love my grandbabies. I am truly blessed.
It’s supposed to be in the 70s this week. Maybe I will have more Easter lilies to bloom. Only one so far! I’m so done with winter. Let’s get ready for spring!
Sales are down and have put a damper on the Pine Mountain Letcher County Co-op. The location is just past the Pine Mountain Junction, towards LCC, on the left. Lots of homemade quilts, antiques, and arts and crafts made by locals. The hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Continue to pray for my daughter- in- law Tiffany Webb Eversole’s grandmother, Georgie Webb. She has one more very strong treatment of chemo and then she starts radiation. She is a very good Christian and a fine lady.
Aunt Elsie Banks was at Reflection getting her hair and nails done last week. She is 99 years old, and the girls all enjoy her company and the songs she sings for them. Carl Bennett takes good care of her. She is my great-aunt, and told Donna that she was glad I helped with the news.
Congratulations to Randy Brown and Patrick Banks on their retirement. They are my cousins.
Mike and Donna Watts enjoyed a weekend at the lake. They went to relax.
Enjoy your sunshine this week. I know I’m going to!
