Some good ways of getting high

People will go to almost any length to get a buzz on or get high as they call it. They would go to any amount of trouble, even resort to killing to get that all important pill or one of the many other vices to get high.

They would sell their soul to the devil for a fix, because they are on the road to destruction. There are no winners in the game they are playing, and only players who are ignorant of the outcome play the game.

When I, along with millions more, want to get high we worship the one who created us, the one who takes such good care of us 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When we have a problem we take it to Him, not take another pill or any other of Satan’s toys.

One of the best ways to get high other than worship is to simply take a child fishing and see the expression on their face when they catch a fish, their first in a lot of instances. You can see the reaction when a small child discovers what those pincers are for on a mean old crawdad or crayfish. Usually they will go look for another one shortly, as the pain of the first encounter is soon forgotten.

If one catches a good-sized fish, it will crank like mad trying to land it. Sometimes a child will simply start running up the bank while trying to pull the fish out of the water, forgetting all about the cranking part. It usually doesn’t matter whether it is a boy or a girl. A lot of little girls love to fish about as much as little boys.

Another way to get high is to take a youngster for a leisurely walk through the woods. There they can learn to appreciate the wonders of nature, the beautiful world around them which God has created for them to enjoy. They can also learn how to preserve and protect the wonders of the woods. They can learn to identify the many types of trees by their bark or leaves. They may even get to see some of the critters which live in the woods.

It would be a great idea to take a long a picnic lunch as kids spent a lot of energy very quickly. A little picnic lunch will make the experience more enjoyable for them.

They may ask some unexpected questions so be on the alert. If there is a nice mud puddle along the way they will be eager to inspect it too. One of the first things to teach them is about poison ivy, oak and sumac. It just may prevent a lot of anxiety in the future.

It’s nice to be able to take children to pretty places such as amusement parks, but it is also nice to take them to places where they can see something besides concrete and asphalt. A lot of our youngsters spend their entire youth without ever getting to enjoy the wonders not made by man.

It is of the utmost importance to take them to church, too. If they don’t get spiritual guidance at home they surely won’t get any in school because that is against the rules now — man’s rules.
