Souls for sale to the devil

How do you define a friend? As everyone knows, or should know, the Lord is the best friend we have or will ever have. But even today people are still trying to crucify Him again by the life they live and the things they do.

Many who are addicted to drugs would sell their soul to the devil for a few pills. Jesus was sold by Judas for 30 pieces of silver. I don’t know what the value was, but I don’t figure it was very much.

When Judas realized what he had done, he took his own life because he couldn’t stand the shame he had brought upon himself. He was buried in the Potter’s Field, which became known as the Field of Blood.

I wonder if the addicts ever feel any shame for what they are doing by defiling the temple which belongs to God. Anyone who will encourage you to partake of the devil’s pleasure is certainly not your friend

A friend can’t be bought or sold, they are free. But to have a friend we have to be a friend. Things which are happening today no doubt are worse than they were when Sodom and Gomorra were destroyed by fire.

How many people today will open their eyes in hell only to wish they hadn’t defi led the temple? But there is no repentance after death.

How many little children will be born deformed if they get a chance to be born at all? How many people are slaughtered at home and on the roads? How many innocent little children will be disappointed Christmas Day or on their birthday and other occasions they consider as special?

How many new graves will there be in our cemeteries this year? Think about it.

There once lived an atheist and when he died the family called on a certain minister to preach his funeral. The preacher was terribly upset and walked the floor all night, not knowing what he could say.

He couldn’t just get up and say that this fellow had gone to hell, as he was afraid the people would run him out of town. He finally came up with something he could say.

So the next day at the funeral he got up and says, “Here lies Brother so-andso. All dressed up and no place to go.”

And that’s all from the funny farm until next time.
