Hooray to Yoder’s for kicking the half-naked lady out. If more stores would do that we would be a better society.

.

To a certain man: Your beautiful wife will soon be notified of your late-night activities at work and with many women. Does your wife really know how many you are playing with? I think she should know.

.

To a certain woman: You are the number one angel in my life. I love you.

.

Mitt Romney’s wife had enough money to send a horse to the Olympics. How come Mitt Romney wouldn’t go around the horse or say anything about it? Mitt Romney has a yacht. Mitt Romney has one house bigger than the five biggest houses in eastern Kentucky and is building on.

I’m a senior citizen who goes to the Boone Fork Senior Citizens Center. Every week they have a day or two where they take a trip, but there are only one or two people who go on these trips. That leaves the rest of us without our daily activity and without food. I wish County Judge Jim Ward would check on this and see why they close the center so much to go on trips that not many of us go on.

This is concerning people on Beaver Dam. You all need to quit talking about that one girl. You all stop her all the time and ask her about pills. Now all of a sudden you want to talk about her. She got bit by a dog at the mouth of that hollow, but no one called about that. No one said anything about that. You all need to leave her alone. She isn’t bothering you all.

.

A certain construction company owner needs to do something about the people who work for him. They are always high and they are making him look bad. Some workers are doing things they shouldn’t be doing in places they shouldn’t be doing them.

.

This is the angel. Sorry if I offended you. I am private. Only my master can get in touch with me. He lives in a fantasy world. He fears he could lose his whole family if I am found out.

.

This is to you, Mountain Eagle: I don’t read your paper, but I am still whistling ‘Dixie.’ You said I need to take the eighth grade over because someone called and told me about my history. Well, I’ll tell you the history. When my classmates were walking up on that hill to go to high school, I was down there tearing the only thing down that your town would have had to make a museum out of, and that was the depot. … I don’t draw a dime from the government. I’m a Christian. I don’t know what the hell you are, but I’ll talk about Obama and that piece of trash they call Congress, and I’ll talk about Romney and I’ll talk about you. Have a nice day and I hope you get constipated. God bless America.

September 11, 2001 was an alarm that God allowed to go off. He wants us to wake up in our relationship with Him. He is using all these things that are happening to underscore that the time is short. We need to pursue Jesus now. We need to pursue Him according to His word, not the traditions of man and the sensationalism of our day. So everybody needs to wake up. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Does anyone know when we will be able to buy beer and wine at these markets in the area? Please comment and let me know.

To the Letcher County Jail: Be aware and on watch for the jail to go boom from all of those dangerous drugs that are being brought into those jail cells. From laughs a lot.

Talking about people is one thing, but when you spread malicious rumors and lies on them, that opens up a whole new book called slander. And when you spread rumors that you don’t know are true or can’t prove, you may not answer for them in this world, but when you die you will defi- nitely be accountable for them.

.

To my mom: You believe him like he never hurt me. You turned your back on me. You couldn’t have ever loved me. If you had you would have run him off when he did what he did. Don’t lie to others and say you love me. When you love people you don’t stop and love someone else. You never loved me or my dad.

.

Larry deserves a ‘shame on you,’ but on the other hand he probably couldn’t handle the responsibility. He was focused on other things. It’s hard to find a coach that isn’t.

Billie Bates was a wonderful woman. She was a fierce warrior for God, and strong for her husband. She had a loving heart and always a kind word. She will be dearly missed by a loving family and friends who are now mourning from her passing. As Psalm 116:15 says, Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. I believe Billie was a saint in God’s eyes. God held her close through her time of cancer. Her faith never shifted from the Lord.

There is a $100 reward for the return of the FS85 Stihl weed trimmer taken out of the back of Wendell Fields’s truck a quarter a mile above Hager Trent’s grocery on Big Cowan or a $50 reward for information that results in the return of the same weed trimmer.

I just wanted the world to know that I am going to vote for Edison Banks for Letcher Commonwealth’s Attorney because he does his job and he does it right. Also, he is good looking. I drive by his house several times a day on the weekend hoping to see him in his yard. Good luck, Edison.

.

To my wife, the beautiful blonde who works at McDonald’s: I want you to know I love you more than anything in this world and I don’t know what I would do without you.

.

I’m calling about schools being overcrowded because of kids being held back for sports. Honor roll kids are being held back for sports. They don’t have a chance to play because of these bigger kids. They should go back and be with kids that are their own age. Whitesburg Middle School is the worst for this. Stop this.

.

This is in response to a comment in last week’s Speak Your Piece which stated, ‘To a certain woman, I will always love you.’ I know who you are and I am very sorry I lied to you about all the stuff. I love you with all my heart and soul. You know I would do anything for you. I am truly, deeply sorry. Please forgive me. I love you and I always will.

To a man who lives on Little Cowan and thinks he is big and bad: Why don’t you come to Pike County?

.

A certain woman will soon be 58 years old and she still likes to sit and brag about the party she had with seven men when she was 18 years old.

.

The M.P. and his neighbors are intelligent. They both came from the same line of geniuses.

.

This advice from a very reliable source is for Henny Penny and Chicken Little: Get back, Jack, and stay back or else the sky will be falling. Can you dig it?

.

Would my sixth-grade teacher in 1942 at Burdine, now living in Sacramento, Calif., please get in touch with me? Everett Vanover, (707) 429-0254.

Concerning that poor black man who shot his friend in the back: They are definitely holding him in jail for visiting Letcher County, not that fact that he’s a coldblooded murderer.

Here are some words of wisdom concerning the coal industry from U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia, who voted no on a Resolution of Disapproval of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rules on coal-fired power plants reducing mercury and air pollution: … This resolution does absolutely nothing to embrace the challenge and potential of coal’s future. This is the type of narrow thinking that moves us backward – declaring that we should somehow turn back the clock, ignore the present and block the future. Instead, we must be moving swiftly forward. The rule this vote called into question is estimated to yield enormous annual health benefits — as these pollutants are shown to have serious and long-term effects through premature deaths, heart attacks and hospitalizations, and impacts on pregnant women, babies and children. I’ve always stood behind West Virginians’ health, and I do so still today. Because without good health, holding down a job can be impossible. Providing for one’s family can be insurmountable. And the happiness that comes with each of these things is lost. This EPA rule – two decades in the making – also moves utility companies ahead on employing technologies that will help guarantee coal jobs well into the future. Some utilities, including some in West Virginia, already have invested in technology and are ready to comply with the rule.

But across our state, there also are smaller, older and less efficient coal-fired plants slated for closure, not because of EPA regulations alone, but – as corporate boards decided long ago and companies themselves will tell you – because they are no longer economical as compared to low-emission, cheaper natural gas plants. I remain deeply concerned about job losses. And I believe we need not only an immediate plan for job transition opportunities, but also a renewed and collective focus on the future — on the jobs that will come with new manufacturing and next generation technology. In West Virginia, we need allies – not adversaries. But coal operators have yet to step up as strong allies and partners ready to lead, innovate and fight for the future. Instead of moving the conversation on coal forward, some in the industry have demanded all-or-nothing, time and again, for the illsighted purpose of a sound bite or flashy billboard. These efforts make no progress, they don’t pursue attainable policy change, and they certainly don’t create or save jobs. Change is upon us – from finite coal reserves and aging power plants, to the rise of natural gas and the very real shift to a lowercarbon economy. Denying these factors and insisting that the EPA alone is going to make or break coal is dishonest and futile. Feeding fears with insular views and divergent motivations will leave our communities in the dust. … Unless this industry aggressively leans into the future, West Virginia’s people and communities – our treasured way of life – stand to lose the most. I am frustrated, but I’m not giving up. I believe in the technologies that will move West Virginia forward. And I will keep pushing for smart investments that focus squarely on a longterm future for coal and jobs, while also addressing very real environmental and health concerns. It’s not too late to discard unproductive all-or-nothing approaches, look ahead to a sustainable future, and join together as the bold partners West Virginia urgently needs.

.

To a certain person: You are so close yet so far away. I look at you down the hall and I begin to pray. I think of all the good times we had and how much we are in love. I think of how you were always there for me when push comes to shove. I see you through the glass and my heart starts to flutter. I know no matter what you’re my soul mate. We were meant for each other. I hate to see you suffer. I wish this would end. One day soon we will be together and our hearts will start to mend, but until that day comes I’ll only see you at med call. You’re so far away but you’re only down the hall. I love you, baby. Don’t forget that I’ll always love you.

It is a good time to write and let the people know the truth in this Speak Your Piece. People can tell people the truth and not be rejected because of the lying, politically correct news media like CNN, NBC, and all others that would rather tell lies than offend some heathen religion. This nation needs to hear a little preacher from the hills of eastern Kentucky. He has the backbone to stand against all the lies of the American Civil Liberties Union and our ungodly politicians. We need to cry aloud and spare not and lift up our voice and warn the people of their transgressions. God is angry with the wicked every day. The judgment of God will come on this nation. You look for famine to come to America, for the nation that forgets God will be turned into hell. I would like for the ACLU, the Congress and Senators and the President of the United States to listen to the word of God and repent of their ungodly sins of murdering unborn children and promoting the abomination of men lying with men, as the President did. If this nation would repent and our politicians would humble themselves and ask the real God (His name is Jesus) to have mercy on them, then God could save our nation. Everyone please listen to radio WSGS-FM 101.1 at 3 p.m., every Sunday. This is one of the best preachers to warn the people to flee from the wrath to come.
