If these men here at the Boone Fork Senior Citizens Center don’t know what I have been talking about with the man getting all of the attention, he is the only one who gets a cake brought to him. I’ve been going here since this started and I’ve not had any cake brought to me. It’s a true story that they are flocking to him.

The Whitesburg Housing Project has become a family affair for some in positions of power even though there are lots of other people who need a place to live. People ought to contact HUD, Hal Rogers and maybe ‘60 Minutes’ or something like that. This needs to be straightened up.

.

To a certain girl who works at a bank: I know what is going on between you and this man. If you don’t tell your husband and he doesn’t tell his wife, I am going to tell his wife because she is my cousin. And I know what I saw, so you need to get your tales together and tell your spouses.

.

I think certain people in No. 6 should stop having kids. They can’t feed the ones they have. That’s a shame.

.

I think it is time that all these people walking around with the flu stay home. Don’t go to church. Don’t get out of the house and into public places. People with heart problems can’t be around this flu. So if you are sick, go to the doctor and then stay home. Don’t spread it to everybody. It’s stupid.

.

To the lady who left a comment in Speak Your Piece about the man in the Isom area and seeing him at the BP a couple of times and wondering if he is married: He is married, he does have a girlfriend, and I assure you he doesn’t need any more of anything.

.

I would just like to say there are a couple of people at UZ who need to quit blaming everybody else for their son being a drug addict. They need to let him take responsibility for his own actions.

.

To the lawyers who are still upholding the murderers of Tammy Acker: I wish you all would get out of the way so those filthy, slimy men could get the death penalty they deserve. I would not want you to go through what Mr. Acker and his daughter went through. I would not want you to go through what his surviving daughter has gone through. You all are just as filthy if you don’t let them be put to death like they were sentenced to be. If you don’t do that, I think it means that you approve of Tammy Acker’s murder.

.

I’m wondering who a certain woman is sleeping with in the Whitesburg that she gets by with breaking the law. I think we need to call Frankfort and have somebody look into law enforcement in Letcher County.

.

Everything I am reading in Speak Your Piece is putting down either someone or something. I think we really need to study that. I love Letcher County. I love when we get new things, whether that be the rec center, a new gymnasium, a new school or a new football field. I want Letcher County to have everything they are blessed to have. I encourage everything. I love promoting the future and I think Letcher County has a future going for it.

.

To those of you who are interested in the pro gun coalition: I still think evidently they are going to get our guns and I have found a website where everyone is getting together and trying to unite on this. It’s called dcclothesline.com. It’s under Dean Garrison and Kentucky is under team four. So get on there and look.

.

I want to wish my granddaughter, Ashley McClain, a happy birthday on April from Nana and Poppy Coomer.

.

I want to wish my daughter, Ashley McClain, a happy birthday on April 6. We hope you have a wonderful day. Love, Mom and Dad.

.

Letcher County, read John 3:16.

.

This goes out to a certain lady: We all know about the pregnant neighbor, but how many birthday cakes are you going to buy from your boyfriend’s other girlfriend?

I just saw on the news that the Industrial Hemp Bill has passed both houses and has been sent to Governor Beshear for his signature. The newscaster also mentioned that ‘Law Enforcement’ opposes the bill because it might interfere with their marijuana eradication efforts. The statement went a long way toward crystallizing my understanding of the failure of the entire ‘War on Drugs’ in Kentucky and across the United States. I do not believe that law enforcement is stupid. I believe they understand that hemp is not marijuana and that industrial hemp will be regulated and inspected. I also believe they know that the best place to grow marijuana, for those reasons and others, is not in a hemp field. I believe that law enforcement already knows that marijuana is a harmless and non-addictive substance that is not a drug, and should be decriminalized if not made entirely legal. So it comes down to the crux of the issue. Law enforcement agencies don’t care whether hemp will interfere with marijuana eradication, or that marijuana is harmless and non addictive. They are afraid that making industrial hemp legal will interfere with their funding for marijuana eradication efforts, because it’s really all about that. Follow the money. The entire “War on Drugs,” which is actually a war on poor people, is about drugs and more properly, about funding for law enforcement agencies and the growing prison industrial complex.

A tip o’ the cap to two freethinkers whose birthdays are this week, Marlon Brando and Harry Houdini.

.

I don’t know why they want to talk about each other down here when they are playing cards. I thought when you were trying to play cards you are trying to loosen up, laugh and joke. Last week when I got back from playing cards my wife said that someone who had played cards with me recently called her and told her what was being done while we were playing cards. If you can’t stop talking about each other, then keep your cards at home. I am about ready to quit myself.

Parents, please listen. Porn and violent video games are destroying our children. It’s easy to obtain them through all of their gadgets that we foolishly buy them.If your children can get access to the Internet on any device, please make sure that they have a parental control mechanism on them so they cannot see things that will destroy their innocent young minds. There are lots of free parental control browsers out there.

The Lexington Herald- Leader recently reported that $4.2 million was spent on lobbying in two months in Frankfort. This includes $83,000 from the aluminum company and $85,000 from other companies regarding taxes on tobacco products. And all your Friends of Coal, the good old boys, threw a $15,000 party for legislators in Frankfort. Folks, if you are not angry you are just not paying attention.

.

What’s up, King in Rocky Hollow? I heard why they didn’t give you that job to shoot fireworks in Jenkins. You didn’t have any insurance and they thought you might burn the town down. That is what I heard.

.

Just so the community of Burton Hill can stop being busybodies, I will tell them no, my mother does not pay my vehicle payments. I pay all of my bills. Mind your own business, people. Are you just that bored or jealous?

.

Gary Rogers, you better take those cars back to the fire department. If not there is going to be a judgment one of these days.

.

To a certain person: You were the only friend I had at the time. You took me in and treated me decently. I would like to say that I remember your birthday was in April but I can’t remember the date. Happy birthday. Remember me. I came into your life in bad conditions.

.

I lost a 1997 original Batman action figure in the Walmart parking lot. If anyone found it, please return it to the front desk. Thank you.

Before Hal Rogers set up UNITE to reward his political henchmen and to publicize his efforts as an drug warrior there was relatively little drug addiction in eastern Kentucky compared to where it is today. Methamphetamine was just the stuff of legend, heroin was on the east and west coast, and prescription pill abuse was relatively manageable. That is because local physicians knew who had legitimate needs for pain medication and who were looking to abuse it, and they self-regulated, only writing prescriptions to people with a legitimate need. Now, drug addiction is an epidemic. Meth is everywhere. Oxycontin has replaced Lorcet and heroin is making its way into the mountains. But UNITE and the Drug Task Forces are awash with state and federal money, thanks largely to our politicians, and particularly to Hal Rogers. This didn’t need to happen, but in their hunger for political power, the drug warrior/ politicians have unleashed the power of federal money and drugs for their own political gain, and it has destroyed a generation of eastern Kentuckians.

The following is a quote from the Holy Bible 1611 King James Version, and that is what our people need to read. Leviticus 18:22 says, ‘Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination.’ This is a commandment from the God that created the heavens and the earth. Politicians are promoting this and then saying God bless America. God does not bless sin. If we want America to be blessed as we were, then our elected politicians need to repent of their ungodly sins and turn from their wicked ways.

I saw an article in Speak Your Piece last week about Wayne Fleming, and I agree with whoever submitted. He’s a sheep in wolf’s clothing. I watch him sitting in that court meeting not trying to help, but watching like a bird of prey ready to down someone or to make himself look like such a martyr going out on a limb to look good. Jim Ward is a good man and tries so hard for the kids and all citizens. Thank the Lord my eyes have been opened. Wayne, you better get down on your knees and thank the Lord you have a job that pays $2,100 a month to sit in a meeting twice a month and raise havoc. I would vote for you if you were running for dogcatcher, but that is all. So Wayne, don’t come in to District Number Two and ask for any of our votes. We will let the dogs out.
