The flowers have popped up and are blooming everywhere. Daffodils, crocus, tulips, magnolia, and even forsythia are making it look like spring, and it’s feeling like it too.
Easter comes early this year and plans are being made for Easter sunrise services at Burton Hill and other cemeteries. I will post dates and times next week.
And, cemeteries will begin to need upkeep. Virgil Caudill will be in charge of the Hampton and Dixon cemeteries, and you can send donations to him at: P.O. Box 172, Blackey, KY 41804. All donations are appreciated.
Ruby Meyers is recuperating from her recent surgery and, thank the Lord, all went well. Many prayers have been said for her. She is a sweet lady and friend to many.
We had a birthday dinner for Bob, who turned 60 last Saturday. My family and his got together at the Blair Branch Church to help him celebrate.
Happy birthday to Aundria Bush and Richard Smith, too. Both celebrated with dinners with their families, too.
Get well wishes to Linda Caudill of Doty Creek, who is having some tests run, and to David Jent, who is having health problems.
