Hi everyone. The Ermine senior citizens are on the move again.
We had two more new seniors to join us and they come every day. They are Don and Nancy Fultz from Thornton.
Nell Fields, co-project manager from Faith Moves Mountains, came by and visited with us. She talked about preventing cancer. Also, Bob Mayhew has started to come back a few days a week since he lost his wife Flo. Don’t quit, Bob, come as often as you can as it’s good from you and we like to have you. We love to see all our seniors and new ones too.
Betty Pike is bowling and she beat Jim Craft. Oh, I wasn’t supposed to tell that but I can’t take it out of my news now.
Betty Newman and husband have been on another vacation. Betty, go back and bring me a rock.
Thursday, we had 30 to go on a picnic to Kingdom Come State Park. We went by Little Shepherd Trail and came back through Cumberland. One of our good senior citizens, name unknown (wants it kept secret), donated all the hotdogs and buns. Whoever you are, we thank you and appreciate you very much. I tried to find out their name but couldn’t. No one seems to know, or they won’t tell. But that’s OK, we need a few secrets to keep us guessing.
The Ermine Center has turned in $213.65 to the county Food Fund since June 22.
Debbie Ann Adams is still off from work. Hope how soon you’ll be OK and back with us as we miss you. July 29, we are planning a shopping trip to Virginia. We have fun whatever we do. We are still young at heart.
You guys who fussed at me for bringing a rock back, I put it in my yard and it looks like it has been there forever.
I went out to supper Saturday and ran into Jessie Anderson, a real good friend of mine. Glad to see and talk with you, Jessie. Come and join us senior citizens. We’d love to have you.G
od bless until next time.
