Summer school begins May 31



Letcher County Public Schools will provide a tuition-free summer school for Letcher County high school students. Students may be able to take up to two classes in order to make up credits or meet graduation requirements. Classes will be held at Letcher County Central High School beginning May 31. Classes end June 22.

Classes will begin promptly at 8 a.m. and last until 3 p.m. Transportation will not be provided on the first day of summer school, but will be provided on the main roads from June 1 to June 22. A free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all students.

Registration will be held at LCCHS from 8 to 9 a.m. on May 31.
