Sympathy to Caudill, Jent families

Hello everyone! How is everyone enjoying this cool, rainy weather?

Been a rough couple of weeks. My ex-sister-in-law, Lucille Mae Collins of Indiana, died. She was 66 years old. She was the mother of Pamela Sue Fields, Juanita Fields Smith and Kim Fields Hoskins, and was a step- mother of Archie Wayne Fields.

She was preceded in death by Marty Allen Fields and her dad, Buford Collins, Sr. Still surviving is her mother, Bertha Mae Ernstes, two sisters, Virginia Maple and Helen Young; two brothers, Mike Collins and Buford Collins, Jr., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services were in Newpoint, Ind.

So sorry for the families of Bobby Jent and Joe Caudill on the loss of both of them in a bad accident at Dry Fork. Prayers and sympathy for the families.

A precious lady from our community, Bobbie Miles Fields Bowman, died from a massive heart attack. My sympathy and prayers for her husband, children, and the rest of the family.

In memorial this week: my late father-in-law, Roy ‘Shorty’ Fields of Edmonton, would have been 97 years old on Oct. 1. He was my late husband’s dad, and then his stepdad, the late Otto Chandler, had a birthday Oct. 2.

Birthdays: Jessica Robinson and Glen Miles, both on Oct. 3; Bobby “Bear” Davis, Oct. 4; Stacy Breeding, Oct. 9; Emma Sue Fegley, Oct. 10 (2 years old); Nancy Caudill Tolle, Oct. 11; and Kim Fields Hoskins, Oct. 13.

May you all have a great day and be blessed to have many more. Happy birthday.

Great service at church (King’s Chapel) on Sunday. God is continually blessing.

Prayers this week for Steve Cornett; Ann Compton; Audrey and Charles Hammonds; Agnes Maggard; my children, grandchildren and future greatgrandson; my brother Archie Fields and family; my sister Kathy Wolfe and family; all my relatives and neighbors; friends and our nation; the shut-ins, homeless, the sick; alcohol and drug addicts; and our churches.

Well folks, going to go for now. Have a great week, keep someone in prayer this week, and attend the church of your choice.
