Ted S. Cook, 76, of Thornton, died January 31 at Pikeville Medical Center.
Born at Democrat to the late Ed and Hattie Hall Cook, he was a brother of the late Alvin Cook, James Cook, Paul Cook, Dan Cook, and Loma True.
Mr. Cook enjoyed antique cars, and attended Hemphill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Lula Cook; a daughter, Medina Allen and husband Walter of Whitesburg; two sons, Ted Cook, Jr., and wife Amy, and Scott Cook and wife Cindy, all of Jenkins; two sisters, Sally Mitchell and husband Keith of Frankfort, and Catherine Mason of Winchester; and friend Harold Mason and wife Barber, of Winchester.
Funeral services for Mr. Cook were held February 4 at Hemphill Baptist Church. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine
Everidge Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
