There is a new computer store opened up in our area. It’s Tech East Computers, located beside Kentucky Farm Bureau at Dry Fork. They carry Dell and Macs and they also do repair work.
Happy birthday to Tessie Johnson of Carbon Glow. It’s on Feb. 21 and she will be 73.
Logan Howard of Knott County had to have his left eye removed on Thursday at UK in Lexington. He had cancer in it, but they found out, thankfully, the cancer had not spread. He got to come home that evening and is doing okay. He is the son of Jamie Sparks and Clint Howard. Logan is 3 and they wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and the donations to help the family out. Logan is precious and will have a lot to deal with for awhile.
My sympathy to the family of Dewey Parker of Blackey. He died from a stroke on Jan. 30.
Everyone please say a prayer for Carol Breeding of Redfox. She is having problems with her liver and is not doing well. She was in Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital then was taken to UK in Lexington. She is the wife of Kenny Breeding and they have a daughter, Meagan.
Bruce Gilley Sr. of Doty Creek is in Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in ICU. He was having breathing problems and trouble walking. We wish him the best.
