THE WALL THAT HEALS —







Nearly 40 years after Vietnam veteran and Ret. Brigadier General Dan Cherry shot down a North Vietnamese MiG-21, he met the pilot, Lt. Nguyen Hog My, in Saigon. Cherry, an author and decorated fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force from Bowling Green, will share his emotional story of healing and reconciliation on Monday, May 9, beginning at 9:30 a.m., at a breakfast at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset, during the opening ceremony of The Wall That Heals. The traveling Vietnam exhibit, a halfscale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial located in Washington, D.C., will be on display at The Center through Saturday, May 14.
