On May 26, 1909, a Letcher Circuit Court jury made up of men from Knott County found Floyd Frazier of Whitesburg guilty in the death of Ellen Flannery. It was Frazier’s third trial involving the May 1907 crime. Following is a copy of The Mountain Eagle’s coverage of the jury’s verdict and recommendation.
