Thomas Reed, 65, succumbs

Thomas Reed, 65, of Benham, died April 1 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.

He was a son of the late Monroe and Roberta Hensley Reed.

Surviving are his wife, Wilma Collins Reed; a son, Tony Reed of Colson; a daughter, Monica Reed of Colson; two brothers, Joe Reed of Cowan and Tim Reed of Redfox; four sisters, Brenda Boggs and Glennis Little, both of Cowan, Karen Caudill of Rockhouse, and Beverly Adams of Whitesburg; and six grandchildren, Noah Profitt, Shelbie Profitt, Cooper Reed, Corinne Reed, Gaston Webb, and Lily Webb.

Funeral services for Mr. Reed were held May 2 at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Sandlick Cemetery at Whitesburg.
