Thomas Sullivan Grant Roark, 43, of Kingscreek, died January 17 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A son of Norma Jean Smith Roark of Kingscreek and the late Thomas Edward Roark, he was an uncle of the late Amy Ison and a brother-in-law of the late Lisa Hughes.
He was an avid gun enthusiast.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife Ruby Hughes Roark; two daughters, Jeanna Danielle Roark and Kelsie Ceara Cornett, both of Kingscreek; two sisters, Sandie Ison and Cheryl Wynn and husband Rodney, all of Kingscreek; a sisterin law, Brandie McBee and husband Patrick; his fatherin law and mother-in-law, Dan and Stacy Hughes of Millstone; six nephews, Matthew, Austin, Brandon, Aron, Ethan, and Dylan; three nieces, Katelyn, Hailey, and Andrea, with whom he was raised with like a sister; and three great-nephews, John, Wyatt, and Jackson.
Funeral services for Mr. Roark were held January 20 at the Kingscreek Community Church. Burial was in the Roark Cemetery at Kingscreek.
Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
