Three plead guilty

Three Letcher County men pleaded guilty to criminal charges in Letcher Circuit Court and were each sentenced to probation for two years.

Stephen M. Holbrook, 49, of 1555 Highway 317, Neon, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (prescription drug) in improper container, use/ possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, failure to wear a seat belt and no insurance. Holbrook must pay probation supervision fees, $130 in court costs and a $1,000 fine.

Bobby Stamper, 34, of 65 No. 1 Bottom, Jenkins, pleaded guilty to seconddegree hindering prosecution. Stamper was ordered to pay all drug testing and supervision fees as well as $130 in court costs.

Jason Bentley, 28, of 104 Jonathan Court, Frankfort, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of non-support. Bentley was ordered to pay $161 each month in current child support in addition to $75 each month on past support payments owed for a total of $236 each month until paid in full. He also owes $130 in court costs.
