Thurman Ray Wyatt, 50, of Cromona, died February 17 at Pikeville Medical Center.
Born in Jenkins to Anna Tompkins Wyatt of Jenkins and the late George Wyatt, he was a brother of the late Jonella Wyatt, Yolanda Wyatt, Diane Wyatt and George Edward Wyatt.
He worked as a chemical cleaning specialist for Protek, and was a past member of the Skyview Park Committee.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 30 years, Deranda Wyatt; two daughters, Ashley Hatton and husband Deran, of Payne Gap, and Amber Wyatt, of Burdine; a son, Matthew Wyatt, of Cromona; six grandchildren, Shaylee Smith, Brylee Smith, Hannah Damron, Jacelyn Hatton, Kinzleigh Damron and Bryson Wyatt ; three sisters, Nettie Anderson, Connie Profitt and Goldie Triplett, all of Jenkins; and two brothers, Willie Wyatt, of Rockwood, Tenn., and John Wyatt, of Jenkins.
Funeral services were held February 21 at People’s Fundamental Baptist Church in Dunham. Burial was in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.
