Rock star Jack White’s solo tour will make a stop at The Orange Peel in Asheville, N.C., on Saturday, May 19. The tour is in support of White’s first solo album, Blunderbuss, which is scheduled for release April 23. The tour kicked off last week in Chattanooga, Tenn., to rave reviews.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (March 23) at noon. They will be available online at www.theorangepeel.net or www.etix.com. The tickets will be $40 in advance, plus applicable fees. There is a strict four tickets per person limit, and any attempts at exceeding the limit with multiple ticket purchases by a single customer will be subject to cancellation.
White recorded and released six studio albums with Meg White when the two comprised The White Stripes, as well as two records with his second band, The Raconteurs. White also made two albums with alt-rock super-group The Dead Weather in 2009 and 2010.
