— Regina Donour, chemistry teacher at Letcher County Central High School, and Juanita Spangler traveled to Europe for 26 days with 10 LCCHS students as part of the German American Partnership Program. She recently spoke about the experience to the Whitesburg Rotary Club as a guest of Rita Pratt. The students spent the first two weeks living with host families and attending school in Zwickau, Germany and the remaining time in Paris, Austria and Iceland. They learned about the German educational system, experienced cultural events and visited historic landmarks. The Rotary Club of Whitesburg donated money for the trip.
