Two from Linefork indicted




The Letcher County Grand Jury has indicted a Linefork man and woman on drug trafficking charges.

Christopher O’Neil Polly, 27, of 437 Cornetts Branch, is charged with complicity to trafficking in the controlled substance, oxycodone; second-degree fleeing and evading police; possession of drug paraphernalia; tampering with physical evidence; and being a persistent felony off ender.

Richelle Sexton, 26, of 402 Long Branch, is accused of complicity to trafficking in the controlled substance, oxycodone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The grand jury charges that on May 12 Sexton and Polly sold oxycodone to a cooperating witness with the Letcher County Sheriff ’s Department. Polly attempted to flee from police and to hide a large quantity of oxycodone worth approximately $23,000.

The grand jury heard testimony from Lt. Brian Damron of the sheriff ’s department in the cases.
