Two women are being held in the Letcher County Jail after being arrested on bench warrants charging them with drug-related offenses and flagrant non-support.
Angela Holbrook, also known as, Angela Taylor, 35, of 2196 Millstone Road, Millstone was arrested November 3 after two bench warrants were served by Kentucky State Police Trooper Michael Burton. Holbrook was charged with flagrant non-support for owing $21,599 in child support payments.
The warrant said Holbrook has not made a child-support payment since July 17, 2010. Her bond on the non-support charge is $2,100 cash.
Holbrook was also charged with second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. A $5,000 surety bond was set in that case.
Angel K. Holbrook, 34, of 2813 Highway 317, Jackhorn, was arrested November 2 after two bench warrants were served charging her with flagrant non-support and being persistent felony offender. She was also charged with promoting contraband. She is being held without bond.
