UNITE MARCH








— Members of the Whitesburg Middle School UNITE Club marched through Whitesburg on April 8 with signs protesting drug abuse as a part of UNITE’s REC (Recreation provides an Excellent Choice over drugs). Club members enjoyed activities at the Letcher County Recreation Center, and guest speakers were former WMS UNITE chairman Tré Sexton, Hope Center volunteer Jami Benning, and David Benning. Snacks for the group were provided by Sexton’s Used Cars.
