Sorry some of my news is late. I cut my finger so bad I couldn’t type with it.
My sympathy to the family of Joannie Wright of Knott County, formerly of Isom, who died on Saturday, Jan. 21. She had cancer and had been sick for awhile.
Virgil and Freda Combs of Carcassonne have recently both been in the hospital,
Virgil with his breathing and an infection, and Freda has a lot of problems with her blood pressure. They are both home now and doing better. Blackey
Happy birthday to Kylie Miller of Blackey, who turned 4 on Jan. 18. She is the daughter of Jai and Michelle Miller, and the granddaughter of Fred Dixon and the late Lenore Dixon and Billie Miller, all of Blackey. She has a little brother, Camden. Happy birthday to her Grandpa Fred on Jan. 17. She had a party on Saturday at the Blackey Missionary Baptist Church.
Junior Adams of Whitesburg has not been doing too well. He has been sick for some time now. He is the father of Rita Gilley of Letcher.
Happy birthday to Kate Collins of Isom on Jan. 22, and Tootsie Johnson of Carbon Glow had one on Jan. 24.
Isaiah Ellis Caudill was born Jan. 23 to April Pridemore and Dustin Caudill. He weighed 6 pounds, 12ounces. Maternal grandparents are K.P. and Lana Pridemore of Jeremiah, and paternal grandparents are Jodie Johnson of Blackey and Kem Caudill of Indiana
Congratulations to all the family. I got to see pictures of him on Facebook and he is adorable.
My parents, P-nut and Jean, went to Lexington last week. Dad had a doctor’s appointment. They said that everything looked good. He has some blockage in his neck but it was doing well also, which was very good news.
My sympathy to the family of Benton Campbell, who died on Tuesday, Jan. 24. He has been sick for awhile.
Wesley Dixon had to have surgery. He had a medi-port implanted to help keep him from getting pneumonia so much. He is now home and doing better. He is the son of John and Jenny Dixon of Carcassonne.
Happy birthday to Beth Pratt of Blackey on Jan. 27. Michelle Caudill of Carcassonne had one Jan. 28; Charity Caudill of Letcher on Jan. 30; Linda Smith of Carcassonne on Jan. 27; Lela Back of Letcher Jan. 29; and Paula Vanderpool of Elk Creek had one on Jan. 27.
Isaiah Caudill has been in the Pikeville Hospital with some breathing problems. They thought he might need a feeding tube, but as of Saturday he was doing some better and didn’t need it. His mom is having problems with high blood pressure, so please say a prayer for them both.
