A team of nine young volunteers arrived in Jenkins Sunday to participate in the Construction/Ministry Project, Discovery Church Team.
Their schedule for the week included attending a school assembly at Jenkins Elementary; a prayer walk to promote the events for the week; and building a stage at the Wellness Center.
Today (Wednesday) they are installing a sound system; cleaning the Wellness Center floor; holding a student prayer meeting at Jenkins High School; and holding a youth event at the Wellness Center, with Les & New Beginning Church Youth.
A Battle of Bands concert will take place Thurday.
The group is sponsored by the SmileFaith Foundation and Dental Missions Appalachia.
