With more than 25 million ballots expected to be mailed this fall nationwide, the U.S. Postal Service is urging voters to mail early this election season.
Voters should apply for absentee ballots early and return them promptly to their county clerks. The Postal Service asks voters in the contiguous United States to mail completed ballots no later than Nov. 3. Ballots mailed from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands should be mailed by Nov. 1.
