Our center is decorated beautifully for Christmas! Old Man Winter has come to stay for a while.
We have been having good crowds every day these past two weeks. I guess everyone knows we have days coming when we won’t be able to get out.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner prepared by our cooks and added to by our ladies. We had potato salad, coleslaw, sweet potato casserole, deviled eggs. Our dessert was a beautiful cake donated by Community Trust Bank made by Abby Wynn. The seniors bought ice cream to go with it.
Some of our group went to Appalshop last Wednesday to see a film about the history of the Old Regular Baptists. It was very interesting since some of them belong to that church. Everyone else enjoyed it too.
We have a lot of activities planned for this month. If you are 60 years old or older, come and join our fellowship and food. We contributed $128.31 to the Senior Citizens Food Fund this month.
Please pray for these: Patty Majority, Martha Harris and Ruby Caudill.
This thought for you: The most important part about “Christmas” is the first six letters.
