Wayne Ison undergoes lung transplant

Mae Boggs’s neighbor, Wayne Ison, had a lung transplant in Lexington. He is out of the hospital, but he and his wife Sandra have to stay in Lexington for six weeks to be near the hospital. They need everyone’s prayers.

Also needing our prayers is Mae’s grandson, David Pack. He is in the U.K. Hospital’s burn center having skin grafts on his legs due to a severe burn. Cowan

We had a good meeting at church Sunday morning. Several from Cowan went to Hurricane Valley at Gordon for a good bonus meeting Sunday afternoon. Richard Sieber and Burnice Sybert came from Tennessee with their wives, Vivian and June. It’s always good to see them. Local ministers there were Gene Wilder, John Banks and Pastor Glen Cornett. They served a good supper afterward.
