Wendell Keith Brown, 55, died November 11 at his home in Whitesburg.
He was a son of Alfred Glenn Brown of Whitesburg and the late Mattie Fern Caudill Brown.
Mr. Brown was a tee-ball coach for several years, and formerly owned and operated Sportsman’s Den. He was a coal miner, and an active member of the Bible Baptist Church of Colson, Colonel Ben Caudill Camp Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Surviving in addition to his father are two brothers, Richard Brown of Dry Fork and David Brown of Winchester; a sister, Freda Campbell of Dry Fork; nieces and nephews, Christopher Adams, Richie Brown, Michael Campbell, Chad Brown and Janice Marr; and greatnieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were held November 13 at Letcher Funeral Home. Burial was in the R.B. Caudill Cemetery at Whitco.
