— James Potter, of Dunham, recently found a fossil of a seashell among gravel at a rock quarry in Burdine. “I was just walking around and it was real bright and shiny,” said Potter. “The sun hit it perfect and it shined.” Potter says the fossil of a seashell is proof that Pine Mountain was once under water.
