A program about wildflowers will be held at noon on April 16 at the Letcher County Extension Office. The speaker will be Rufus Fugate, a Letcher County native and retired Leslie County agriculture extension agent. He is a wildflowers expert.
The program will be cosponsored by the extension office and the local Daughters of the American Revolution chapter. It is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
It will begin with a potluck lunch at noon with DAR members providing bread and drinks.Those attending should bring a favorite salad, vegetable or dessert. Call Ann Bradley at 633-2362 for more information.
