Thanks to both for taking the time to come and keep us up to date on women’s health. Each one present received a bag of health products, and we do appreciate their generosity.

March 30, we traveled to J.W. School in Wise, Va. to see “The Great Gatsby,” a portrayal of the jazz age. It was wonderful and the costumes, fantastic. (Love the 1920s.) It is required reading in many high school and college English classes, and is now an American classic.

Enjoying the evening were Vernell Mullins, Sandy Banks, Irene Smith, Janet Tucker, Cheryl Hall, Sally Caudill, Ann Estep, Patty Nantz, Jo Champion and Earlene Williams.

April 14, we went to Pikeville to the Jenny Wiley Theater to see “Steel Magnolias,” a Southern comedy about real life situations. We had dinner at Bank 253.

Seeing the play were Vernell Mullins, Janet Tucker, Mahala Frazier, Sally Caudill, Ellen Compton, Ann Estep, Jo Champion, Ann Hall, Irene Smith, Jolinda Wright, and guests Clayshan Black and Leigh Blankenbecker.
