Wreck fatal; Neon man hurt




A Neon man was listed in serious condition at a Lexington hospital on Tuesday after being involved in a fatal traffic accident in Perry County on November 7.

Kentucky State Police say Tony C. Potter, 44, of Neon, was driving a small sports utility vehicle at Viper when he crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck driven by Odis Adams, 71, of Slemp, also in Perry County.

Adams was pronounced dead by the Perry County Coroner’s Offi ce at the Hazard hospital, where both men were transported by ambulance after the accident. Potter was later flown to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

The wreck occurred at 11:28 a.m. KSP Trooper Brandon Thomas is investigating.
