Yonts family holds reunion

DUANE YONTS

The family of the late Faris and Ada Collins Yonts of Whitesburg, held their bi-annual reunion at Mc- Cormick Creek State Park in Spencer, Ind., the week of July 7-13.

Of the 11 children of Faris and Ada Yonts, only four are still living — Marie Yonts Mercer and Harold Russel Yonts, both of Indianapolis, Ind., Duane Yonts of Little Cowan, and Ella Yonts Sparks of Whitesburg, all of whom attended, along with their families.

There were approximately 85 people in attendance, with family members from New York, Oregon, Virginia, Maryland, Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Texas. Family members extended down to six generations, with a greatgreat great-granddaughter, Charlie Rose, 2, of New York, present.
