Police say two teenagers were found hiding in a coal truck after they allegedly looted dozens of vehicles in northeastern Pennsylvania.
The Citizens Voice of Wilkes Barre reports police say 19-year-old Josh Kolinoski and a 16-year-old boy were riding their bikes and wearing ski masks when they entered at least 50 vehicles in four different boroughs early Monday.
Police say an officer in Larksville spotted them and gave chase. He says the pair dumped the bikes and fled on foot, leaving footprints that led to a coal truck where they were hiding. Charges are pending.
Police say Kolinoski was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility because he was wanted on a warrant; it wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney. The juvenile was released to his parents.
