Yvonne Brown Sutphin has visited her sister, Linda Combs, and other family and friends. She attended the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church and saw her niece and her husband, Dr. John and Megan Watson.

Yvonne and Linda spent a night at the Breaks Interstate Park and found it to be beautiful.

Ramona Finchum, Regina Crawford and Senator Robert Stines visited Bennett and Linda Combs.

Linda’s birthday wishes in April were for Robby Crawford on April 23, and Jenna Crawford on April 24. This month she has Christine Cornett of Macon, Ga., on May 9, Yvonne Brown Sutphin of Lynchburg, Va., on May 16, and Regina Crawford and Ramona Finchum on May 18.

She sends ‘hello’ to Don and Dana Walker of Naples, Fla., and their daughter Kim. Dana is the daughter of the late Clifton and Bertie Frazier Isom of Whitesburg.

Bible School was held at the Little Cowan Primitive Baptist Church on May 7–11. They had a really good time, sang songs and did projects, learning about Christ, our Shepherd. We are so very thankful for all the children, teachers and helpers.

We were happy to have visitors at church on Mother’s Day. We had a special blessing when Someerah and Skylar Frazier sang a song dedicated to their mother, LaShawna, Mamaw Tammy, Rana Faye and their Mamaw Hazel in heaven. They sang beautifully and with such poise and grace.

Steve Adams, a stepson of Faye Banks, recently lost his mother. When Steve comes in for visits he always comes to church with Faye and Charles. Remember him in prayer.
