Head Start now taking applications

LKLP Head Start, a free federal pre-school, is now taking applications for the 2019-20 Head Start school year. Parents of children 3 or 4 years old should contact Jenny Halcomb or Christy Smith at 606-435-7996 to complete an application for the upcoming year. There is no cost to parents for children to participate in Head Start.

Evening with Elvis at Jenkins

An Evening with Elvis starring Matt Dollar will take place at the Old Jenkins High School gymnasium on Saturday, March 14. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and there is no charge for veterans and children. For tickets, call Bessie McPeek at 606-213-6302.

Beekeepers to meet

Square dance at Carcassonne

Carcassonne Community Center will host its first square dance of 2020 from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 14, presented by Community Trust Bank.
