Applications for the Kentucky Agriculture Relief Effort are now being accepted by the Letcher County Conservation District (KARE). The program assists farmers who have losses because of the drought. Applications are available at the Letcher County Conservation District office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 633-4448.
