Garden Club picks winners



The Whitesburg Garden Club has selected winners of its outdoor Christmas decoration competition. The Garden Club members who won are R.C. and Frances Day of 124 Tennessee Avenue, Whitesburg. The nonmembers who won are Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Lee, 779 Jenkins Road, Whitesburg. The public is invited to drive by to see the decorations which won the contest.

Class scheduled



A Kentucky concealed carry training course will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Jan. 3, at the Letcher County Cooperative Extension Office in Whitesburg. Support group to meet Jan. 8



The Letcher County Autism Support Group will have its monthly meeting on January 8 at 6 p.m. at the Neon First Church of God.
